We collect an interior partition from a wooden lining

Wooden lining - material with an incredibly wide range of applications. Yes, it is mainly used for wall and ceiling cladding. But, oddly enough, this product is also suitable for the assembly of interior partitions. The structure itself, in this case, turns out to be frame. Below is how exactly the procedure for creating it looks like.

1. Partition marking

You need to start by creating a markup, along which the frame will be mounted in the future. It is most correct to apply the markings in two parallel lines, between which there is a gap of about 10 cm. Lines are applied to the floor, then the markings are transferred to the walls and ceiling. The easiest and best way to do this is using a laser level.

2. Installation of the frame under the interior partition

As a basis for such a partition, a frame assembled from beams is used. To make the design as reliable as possible, it is necessary to take a beam 8-10 cm thick. A harness is first installed from such a bar. That is, the elements are laid directly on the line of the previously applied marking.

At the next stage, the assembled harness is filled with racks of the same material. You don't need to leave a lot of free space between the racks. The optimal spacing of their location is 50-60 cm.

3. Installation of sound-absorbing material

With the help of the lining itself, you can achieve good sound absorption. But, since there are cavities in the frame partition, you can also use a special noise-absorbing material. For example, ordinary mineral wool is great. It is placed between the beams of the frame structure and fixed with metal brackets.

4. Sheathing of the frame of a wooden lining

Finally, when a frame with a sound-absorbing layer is formed, they begin to install the lining. On such a frame structure, the material panels are installed in a horizontal position. It is easier to start the cladding from the bottom of the frame, placing the lining with the spike up. The panels are attached to the frame structure with self-tapping screws.

The next element is planted with a groove on the one below and also tied to the frame. In this way, the frame structure is sheathed on both sides. Then they move on to decorative events. Wooden lining can be treated with paint, clear varnish, various top impregnations.

In general, due to the lining, it will be possible to immediately install the interior partition and finish. The design looks original, while successfully resisting the spread of noise between adjacent rooms.
