Warm floor to the balcony. Let's figure it out

Modern apartments have become much more comfortable. Their undoubted decoration is also spacious balconies. Often their area is enough to equip a small gym or office.

Of course, such a balcony should be carefully equipped: correctly glazed, finished and, of course, think over and choose the best suitable floor heating system. Only then will a cozy, light room appear in the apartment, keeping constant +20 degrees, where you can do your favorite things at any time of the year.

Since it is strictly forbidden to take out central heating batteries to the balcony, it is better to use convector heaters or oil radiators for heating. As an additional source of heat, you can install electric heated floors on the balcony. Their presence is especially pleasant in the off-season, when central heating does not provide heat, and it is quite cool outside.

On balconies, as a rule, are mounted:

floors with cable heating system;

heating mats;

infrared film floors.

Underfloor heating cable systems require the installation of single or double-core heating sections. The main condition is the thickness of the cement-sand screed. It must be at least 45 mm without air gaps. In cases where such parameters cannot be provided for some reason, other heating systems are used.

Heating mats or infrared film floors will cost more, but at the same time, they will successfully create the desired indoor climate.

Heating mats are easy to install and are usually placed in an adhesive when laying floor tiles.

Infrared film floors are based on the use of heat rays for heating. A distinctive feature of these floors is their versatility in relation to the choice of flooring, while in the first two cases only floor tiles are recommended.
