We build a fence from corrugated board

To save money on construction, you can do everything yourself. The involvement of professionals, of course, will allow you to complete the repair quickly, but you have to pay a lot for their work. Some types of construction work are not that difficult and can be done independently. You can also build a fence yourself. The most inexpensive and practical way to make a fence is to use corrugated sheets, they are inexpensive, strong and durable. In addition, such a fence allows you to hide the site from strangers.

Preparatory stage.

First, you need to dig several holes in which the support pillars will fit. The holes should be approximately 15 cm. in width and 1-1.5 meters in depth.

After all the holes have been dug, you need to prepare cement and sand and make a building mixture out of them. Such a mixture will reliably anchor the fence in the ground, acting as a foundation. For greater reliability in the construction of the foundation for the fence, gravel can be used. First, you need to fill 1/3 of gravel into the pit, then install a support post, and then pour concrete mixture into the pit. The support post must be installed level so as not to spoil the appearance of the fence.

Fence fixing.

It is possible to start installing the sheets only after the concrete mixture has completely solidified. Ideally, you need to wait three days, then proceed to fixing the sheets.

When the concrete has completely hardened, you need to install logs on the supports. Sheets of corrugated board will be attached to the logs. The sheets will be fastened with self-tapping screws for metal, about 35 mm long.

The sheets overlap each other along the entire perimeter of the fence. Such a fastening will make the connection reliable. Fastening sheets of corrugated board must be started from the side of the gate.

Fasteners should be used as often as possible so that the fence does not bend or come off under the influence of strong winds. Ideally, attachments of about 450-500 mm can be made. from each other, but you can make them even closer.

Further, when all the sheets are fixed, you need to process the sheets. The edges of the sheets during installation can be scratched, paint and protective coating peel off in these places. It is necessary to process the sheets with paint from a can, matching the color of the fence. This treatment will protect against corrosion.

Following these recommendations, anyone can make a fence on their own, without the involvement of specialists. Construction shouldn't be too complicated or time consuming.
