Fruit trees that I planted as a Couple on the advice of my grandmother and have been getting a Good harvest for many years
I have always dreamed of having a garden. I imagined how in the spring I would contemplate a beautiful blooming garden, enjoy its aroma and beauty.
And then I will collect healthy fruits in baskets. When my husband and I bought a summer cottage, we planted several fruit trees, but my rainbow dreams did not come true.
I shared my experiences with my grandmother, and she told me that it is very important not only to plant and care for trees correctly, but also to follow the rules of a healthy neighborhood.
That is, some fruit trees need to be planted in pairs, and only in this case a good harvest can be achieved. She told me about such couples, I followed her advice, and now I am not overjoyed.
Trees make me happy every year. Now I, in turn, want to share these tips with you so that your garden will yield a good harvest.
Pairs of fruit trees and bushes that are the best companions
First I want to tell you about apple tree, since it was she who became the first inhabitant of my garden. I have already said that I purchased young seedlings.
And, while the apple tree is young, the best companion for it is raspberries. It has a very good effect on the soil under the apple tree, the roots of the raspberry promote loosening, and the roots of the apple tree are saturated with oxygen.
The scab is also not terrible for an apple tree if raspberry bushes grow nearby. And the apple tree, in turn, will save raspberries from gray rot. When the apple tree grows to a large size and begins to strongly shade the raspberry, then it will already be uncomfortable with the apple tree.
Therefore, a maple grows nearby. It will protect the apple tree from pests and diseases. And I have to transplant the raspberries.
Also I had only one in my garden pear. This was my mistake. The pear itself is sterile. So I planted another pear next to it.
Moreover, you need to take into account the variety and timing of flowering and fruiting. I grew a sort of fret, I planted a Chizhov pear to it. They fit perfectly together, so I have been happy with the harvest for several years now.
· Cherry Is one of my favorite fruit trees. She gave very little fruit until I planted another variety of cherries nearby. After that, all my problems were resolved.
After all these manipulations, I realized that even trees, and not just people, need pairs. And most trees cannot bear fruit if they grow alone.
