The main ingredients are available to everyone. This is ordinary milk and iodine - is in every home! And their use in the garden in tandem is an excellent option for those summer residents who want to protect plantings from diseases, but do not use toxic chemicals.
The result is complex:
- Milk, or rather its solution, gently envelops the leaves of tomatoes and cucumbers. The protective film protects the leaf from fungi and bacteria, and those striving to penetrate the plant cells and do their dirty work.
- Iodine is a well-known antiseptic. Not a single pathogenic microorganism can resist its impact. Including the damned late blight, against which I began to look for folk remedies.
- Milk contains proteins, minerals and amino acids. To some extent, the working solution that I am talking about today can be considered a growth stimulant. But not a substitute for the main diet of vegetables.

1. Take plastic bucket with a volume of 10 liters. I advise you to take plastic in order to avoid unwanted chemical reactions and the solution in action turned out as it should.
2. To the bottom of the bucket pour out 1 liter of milk. I take the inexpensive in bags at the nearest rural store. By the way, you can use a little sour! A great way to attach a spoiled product: you can not throw it away, but use it with benefit on the beds of tomatoes and cucumbers.
3. Add 20 drops of iodine. This is very important: a smaller amount may not work, and a larger amount may leave severe burns on the leaves.
