Simple and effective method for removing dirt from sofa or bed surfaces using leather substitute
I would like to share a simple and effective, and most importantly safe method of cleaning the upholstery of a sofa or bed from a leather substitute. After the renovation, all furniture requires a thorough cleaning, because in any case the building dust settled, even if everything was covered.
I have known about this method for a long time and use it quite often. To do this, you do not need to spend large sums on special cleaning products, you will need to spend 100 rubles on the whole thing, and maybe even less. In this case, it does not matter at all what color and quality level the upholstery, the method is suitable for any surface, so to speak.
To clean leatherette, you will need only 2 items: acetone (nail polish remover), cotton pads or cotton wool. It is better not to use rags or sponges, they quickly absorb, and acetone has the property of evaporating quickly. And so to the essence of the life hack.
These are the really scary spots that were after on the bed.
As I already wrote, only 2 components are needed, I knitted in the store the simplest nail polish remover and a regular cotton pad.
Further, everything is very simple, you need to thoroughly moisten a cotton pad or cotton wool, you can do all this with gloves. I was uncomfortable, so I took them off.
Of course, if you need to clean a large surface, it is best to use a large piece of cotton wool. Although I have dark spots, there are not as many of them as it might seem, so a small disc was enough for me.
Then I just started rubbing the surface of the bed with a moistened cotton pad in a circular motion.
By the cleaning process, I needed several discs, since it quickly gets dirty, you need to monitor this so that it does not make it worse.
In the end, I wiped everything with a damp cloth, which I use to remove the dust and all the stains were gone.
I recommend this method, because it is not only cheap, but also more effective than many special expensive means.
