I was worried that the Cucumbers "sit still"

Every housewife dreams of a bountiful harvest in her beds. After all, not only the family's summer diet depends on this, but also the number of preparations for the winter.

This year, cucumber seedlings developed very slowly. Probably, the plants reacted this way to bad weather conditions.

It took a little tinkering to provoke plant growth, but the result was worth it.

Yeast feeding

This type of fertilizer is suitable for all garden and horticultural crops, but it is cucumbers that react to it instantly.

I bought a small one-hundred-gram package of yeast, filled it with a liter of warm water (no more than 36 ° C), and left it in a dark place for 40 minutes. After the yeast was activated and bubbles appeared on the surface, I poured the concentrate into a bucket and added another 9 liters of room temperature water.

This product can be used almost immediately after preparation. I put the liquid directly under the root. For 1 plant I give about 1 liter of solution.

When it is not possible to process cucumbers on the same day, I leave the bucket of solution in a dark place, but before that I add a third of a glass of sugar and stir well.

If I have whey, curdled milk or milk, then I dissolve the yeast mass in milk product, and after the fermentation processes have begun, I dilute it with nine liters of water and water plants.

In the case when instead of raw yeast you need to use dry yeast, I mix 10 g of granules with two tablespoons of sugar and dissolve in a bucket of warm water. The mixture should be infused for about 6 hours. After that, I dilute 1 liter of concentrate in 5 liters of warm water and water the garden.

If desired, finely chopped fresh nettle can be poured with warm yeast solution and insisted for 2 days. Then the concentrate should be diluted with water and only after that water the cucumbers.

Things to Consider When Using Yeast Feeding

1. Compost and chicken droppings do not go well with yeast feeding. Between these types of dressings, it is necessary to withstand from 5 to 7 days.

2. Together with the yeast, it is necessary to add ash and ground eggshells to the soil, since microorganisms deplete the soil.

3. Yeast fertilization is appropriate only when the ambient temperature rises above + 15 ° C.

4. This is most effective at the beginning of the flowering phase.

5. If you add 2 g of ascorbic acid to 100 g of yeast, then the number of barren flowers on the bushes will significantly decrease.

6. The yeast must be fresh.

7. Cucumbers can be fed in this way no more than three times per season. This should be done after rain or watering in warm weather.

This method of sub-crusting allows you to save money, increase the yield and get vegetables without additives harmful to the body.
