1. Armature

Now many people choose fiberglass reinforcement. These are rods of a light yellow hue. The rods are composed of synthetic and polymer resin and glass fiber. It is 10 times lighter than metal reinforcement and this does not load the foundation. Such fittings do not rust, they perfectly tolerate severe frosts and heat. They say that it is cheaper than metal.

Another plus: GRP fittings can be installed without welding. For fastening, plastic clamps, clamps, wire are used. But such fittings are only suitable for the construction of one-story houses and other light buildings. The reinforcement can bend under the weight of the concrete.

Then you need to prepare a cement mortar (without rubble). Pour into a trench to a height of 15 cm. mortar and drown the stone in it. Then again the solution and again the cobblestone to ground level. We are waiting for everything to finally grab and set the formwork on the ground.

We make the formwork about 55 cm high. And now we still need reinforcement and concrete solution. We fill the foundation. There will be no small cracks on the walls, near windows, doors. The foundation of the house is very strong and reliable. The foundation can withstand temperatures from minus 40 to plus 30.

About formwork. We knock off from the boards. If it's a pity to spoil them (they will come in handy later), lay roofing material inside the formwork.

4. Water wears away the stone

What to say then about concrete. A monolithic foundation has small capillaries, pores into which liquid enters. In winter it freezes and the concrete cracks. This can be avoided. We remove the formwork. We clean the surface of the foundation from dust, dirt. We apply bituminous paint (waterproofing) to the inner surface of the foundation. This is concrete from moisture.
