How I bend a 14 mm diameter reinforcement without a machine
To connect the reinforcement cages in the corners and among themselves, it is necessary to strengthen the connection with bent reinforcement sections. Example:
I don't have the best example. The longer the folds, the better.
I bent the frames for reinforced cages on a homemade machine (article about assembling it without welding here). But he is able to bend the reinforcement to a maximum of 10 mm, which I no longer have. Remained 14 mm (from the reinforcement of the openings):
Reinforcement trims. Proceed as follows:
Bending the reinforcement on the container. There is a thick steel welded member reinforcing the awnings to the door. He was bent with a pipe. Better meter. In short, you will have to make great efforts.
But not everyone has a place where they can bend the reinforcement. Then you will need a post dug in or concreted into the ground. If it is wooden, then we fasten a metal plate (3 mm thick) to a height of 0.5 m to the front face, and a bracket to the ends (from a corner, for example):
Or, instead of a bracket, screw on the second plate, bent into an arc. And also bend it with a pipe. A heavy table or workbench can be adapted. Three bolts (stops) are screwed into it, reinforcement is inserted and also bent with a pipe. Or, bend the reinforcement, which is inserted between two corners, into the slot in the channel. Options:
On the third slide - an option if you don't need to bend much. Otherwise, the stop armature loosens in the wooden base.
The device for reinforcement bending costs 5-6 thousand. You can do it yourself using a welding machine and a grinder. The options were given in this collection.
