We remove limescale from the shower with a penny means. Soda and vinegar work wonders!
A well-known story - plumbing is covered with limescale. And if the smooth parts retain their appearance with constant rubbing, then the ribbed and with holes are gradually covered with a coating. I'm checking to see if I can remove limescale from the shower head with a mixture of vinegar and baking soda.
Here's my watering can. As you can see, plaque is present and quite strong. I could not wipe it off just with a sponge and a cleaning agent. I suspect that the holes are also clogged, because the water pressure from the watering can is not uniform.
You can take any glass or enamel container: an old saucepan or bowl. You can also use a plastic bag, and, putting a watering can in it, secure with an elastic band.
I take a can because my watering can goes there and it's convenient. Then I make a solution: put 3 tablespoons of soda on 0.5 liters of warm water and pour about 100-120 grams of table vinegar (6-9%). Be careful here, the reaction can be quite violent. Therefore, I first diluted everything in less water, and then added.
I dip my watering can in the solution and leave it there for half an hour or forty minutes.
Then I rubbed the watering can lightly with the hard side of the sponge and washed it off with water.
The watering can now looks like this. Let's compare.
Almost all of the plaque was washed off. And also clean the holes from which water flows. It turns out that they were also clogged with a raid. This became clear when the pressure became even, water flowed out of the watering can as if it was new.
I draw a conclusion. The life hack works without a doubt. Cheap, and most importantly, effective tool.
