I bought a contour template - a genius invention for transferring any contour (cutout around pipes, baseboards, etc.)
I have long seen a tool (outline template) in online stores. I wanted to buy, but I forgot everything, and I was too lazy to press a couple of buttons and order. Today I saw him at Fix Price. I was very surprised and immediately bought it for 99 rubles.
Soon we will be doing repairs in the bedroom, I think it will come in handy. The place does not take much, but the benefits are significant. I want to tell you about this template.
This circuit will be indispensable for those who are constantly engaged in repairs. In order not to spend a lot of time marking, use this device.
If I had one before, I would correctly and evenly cut the sill into the bathroom and toilet. And I would cut off the tile near the pipes exactly.
The template is also useful for copying the contour of door frames, outlines of pipes on a laminate or parquet. The tool will be necessary when working with plywood, OSB boards, tiles, carpets, etc.
Size 145x100 mm. Measurement depth max. 30 mm. The instrument itself weighs only 190 grams. The template is made of polystyrene, shock-resistant ABS.
With it, you can instantly measure all corners, protrusions, concave and relief surfaces. And then it is easy to transfer to the finishing material. The cut of the desired shape passes like a stencil.
The template has plastic movable elements that follow the abutment lines.
The ruler is marked with risks (centimeters and inches). There is a clamp screw at one end of the loop.
Let's say we need to cut out a tile or, in my case, an aluminum sill to hide the connection between tiles and linoleum. Of course, I did it without a template a long time ago. But I want to demonstrate how it was necessary to do so that it turned out perfectly smoothly and beautifully.
We bring, press and get an exact copy of the junction, taking into account all the convexities. Then the template is applied to the nut and a trim line is drawn. This is just one example.
Glad I bought myself an outline template. At the next repair, everything will be perfectly smooth.
