Gas will be connected for free in Russia

Even if the pipe passes behind the fence of the site, then the connection can be several hundred thousand rubles. And someone wrote that there are requests from contractor companies up to 1 million. rub. and higher - this is when the cost of work is several tens of thousands of rubles.

Few people managed to connect for adequate money. But such examples also exist.

Judging by most of the comments, even with the possibility of connecting gas, some prefer to heat with wood, coal or electricity. The high cost of connection will pay off only in 10 years. And not everyone has free hundreds of thousands of rubles.

But gas from the main pipe remains one of the most profitable and convenient energy sources for home heating. With a payment of 1.5-3 thousand rub. in the winter month, depending on the area and type of walls of the house.

And then there was good news, but only so far for some of the country's residents. In Moscow, Chelyabinsk, Kurgan and Tyumen regions from mid-2021. connecting houses and summer cottages will be free of charge. Perhaps later the geography of the project will expand. Anyone in these four pilot regions will be connected to gas, subject to physical connectivity. The dates have not yet been approved, these are only plans so far. But the information itself to the inhabitants of these regions of the country will warm the soul, as they say.

Everything will be like in some European countries. The social concept of gasification - that's how it was called. Indeed, according to the Accounting Chamber, the gasification program over the past three years has been completed only by 15%. You need to accelerate.

The Ministry of Energy also promises to reduce the connection time - from 280 days to 130 days. Thanks to the creation of a single operator. It is high time to control this market, but at the state level. As you can see, there is no competition, contractors set whatever prices they want for connection.

There are regions in Russia where main gas is completely absent. These include the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where I live. And this question is interesting to me, tk. I'm building a house. The country's gasification plans include the Power of Siberia-2 project. The highway will be laid in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. This is the second branch of the gas pipeline to China, but together with the gasification of Eastern Siberia:

But I don’t know if the existing coal lobby will allow us to provide sufficient gas supply to Eastern Siberia. Almost all coal mines, thermal power plants, state district power stations and even management companies are in the hands of one person.

The Kremlin does not need a conflict of interest. Although, judging by what happened in Khabarovsk this summer, this scenario is also possible.

Perhaps this news about free connection to gas is Gazprom's orientation towards the domestic market. There are constant frictions and economic wars in the supply of gas to Europe, and the projects of new gas pipelines are being "stuck in the wheel." China buys gas at too low a price. And the Power of Siberia project is more strategic than economic. There are a lot of difficulties in selling gas abroad. And with the proper development of the gas supply network inside the country, this will be a significant part of the gas flow, Gazprom's profits and replenishment of the budget.

You just need to encourage people to connect to gas. Free connection is a great leverage. But at what tariffs the gas supply to private traders will be - is not specified. The connection costs are likely to be included in the tariffs. And the cost of gas heating can be comparable to wood or coal. There will be only one plus in this - you do not carry the energy carrier and do not recycle ash. Convenient, but I would also like to be inexpensive.
