How I chose a TV in the kitchen. What I would look for when buying a TV next time
The kitchen has finally finished renovating. We bought a kitchen set, refrigerator and stove. But for complete happiness there was not enough TV. When choosing through the Internet, I was faced with a huge number of characteristics that were incomprehensible to a simple layman. It seems to me that only specialists need all this. Therefore, it was decided to choose a TV directly in the store.
Our LG
I have been familiar with LG technology for a long time, a 20 year old TV works great in the country. Therefore, first of all, we looked at the models of this particular company. What they paid attention to:
· The size of the required screen size was found out experimentally. Cut out a rectangle from cardboard, which perfectly fit into our interior, and measured the diagonal;
· I wanted a good sound, but the store is noisy, and I couldn't assess the quality;
· I like to sit with a mug of tea near the window. From this place, the TV is seen from the side, so the image was viewed from different angles right in the store;
· Since the TV was bought specifically for the kitchen, we were not interested in sophisticated functions either.
Everything else was not critical. My wife and I watched a dozen models from different companies and purchased Led LG 28MT49VF-PZ in black. I liked the richness and depth of color reproduction and the excellent viewing angle. The price was fine.
TV with us for a year
During the year of operation, there were no complaints about the quality of workmanship - everything is beautiful, durable, comfortable. What is positive can be noted:
· The sound still turned out to be worthy;
· Very simple and convenient menu. Qualitatively Russified. The child figured out faster than we did;
· Reads everything from a flash drive. Plays any video and audio. You can watch photos. By the way, it's very convenient. Friends came and we looked through photos from a joint trip to the mountains over a mug of tea.
What would I look for when buying a TV next time:
· Does not connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi. It's a shame, like such a necessary thing, but it is not;
· Inconvenient or unusual joystick control on the bottom of the TV. I liked the individual buttons better;
· External power supply unit, a little annoying with its appearance. Hangs on the wall and attracts attention. Although it may be a plus. In the event of a breakdown, you can buy a new block;
· It is inconvenient to insert a USB flash drive. The connector is located in the middle of the rear panel, and it is difficult to get your hand through. If the wall mount is rotatable, then the problem is not relevant.
But this cannot be called disadvantages, these are just mistakes of choice. And the rest of the TV pleases. Digital TV shows, through hdmi, the picture is excellent. Everything suits me. What TV do you have in the kitchen?
