How I chose the drill. Some craftsmen believe that a good tool must be expensive.
Drilling, mixing mortars, making holes - it's hard to imagine a repair without a drill. But not every tool will be able to pass with dignity the tests of dust and high loads that accompany construction and finishing work.
How to choose a drill
Some artisans believe that a good tool must be expensive. This statement is not entirely true, you can choose a model that suits your needs, saving on unnecessary functions.
There are several types of drills:
· Unstressed (classics, "direct descendants" of the models our grandfathers worked with);
· Impact (for making holes);
· Drill-screwdriver (perfect for assemblers of furniture and other structures);
· Corner (irreplaceable in hard-to-reach places);
· Drill mixer (used to obtain a homogeneous mass when mixing components of building mixtures, paints, etc.);
· Diamond drill (used when working with materials of increased strength).
This division does not mean that it is impossible to do other work with one type of tool. But it's better to get a model that better suits your type of work.
It is worth noting that power, which is a decisive indicator for many tools, is also important for a drill, but it directly depends on its type. For example, for an angular model, the power of 800 W is excellent, while a drill mixer with the same indicator is unlikely to cope well with the tasks, especially if you have to stir dense solutions.
Advantages of the drill Interskol D-10 / 350ER
Model Interskol D-10 / 350ER has an average power. Small weight and size makes it indispensable when working in confined spaces. In addition to drilling, I often use it as a screwdriver. Another plus - there is a fastener on top for placing on the belt. I am completely satisfied with the tool.
Which drill do you use and for what work?
