The best folk dressing for Ficus Benjamin in the fall. Guaranteed to grow rapidly

I have been breeding Benjamin ficuses for a long time. But she noted that one plant stopped growing, small spots appeared on the leaves. Ficus has lost its decorative effect. I started looking for reasons.

And I realized that the plant lacks trace elements. On the advice of a friend, I tried one traditional medicine. It has proven to be effective, low budget, and easy to prepare. But I will write about this a little later.

I read a lot of information on the Internet and made a conclusion. The flower needs regular nutrition, and the soil is gradually depleted.

By the appearance of the plant, I determined what microelements it lacks.

1. It grew more slowly. Ficus lacked nitrogen in the soil.
2. Small heels appeared on the leaves. This indicates a lack of iron.

I tried a traditional medicine that saturates the soil with carbon, iron and nitrogen. This is an infusion of nettle.

This tool is the best for feeding Benjamin ficus. It turns out that it is also used to cover the surface of the soil to protect it.

Stages of cooking nettle infusion

1. I collected the shoots of the plant before the seeds formed. About 50 grams of fresh nettle and 10 grams of dried plant were sufficient. I bought dry grass at the pharmacy.

2. Finely chopped the shoots, poured them into a jar and poured water at a temperature of 100 degrees in an amount of 500 ml. The shoots were in half of the jar.

3. She covered it with a lid and put it in the closet. The main thing is that the place is dark.

4. The mixture was infused for 16 days. On average, from 14 to 21 days is enough for the infusion.

5. After 16 days, I strained and diluted the composition with water in a ratio of 1 to 10.

6. I watered the flower with this concentrate.

7. Sometimes I diluted the composition in a ratio of 1 to 20. I used it to spray ficus.

I checked the color of the infusion for readiness by the presence of two parameters:

- dark green color of the solution;
- the presence of bubbles on its surface.

These proportions are optimal for feeding.

I applied the mixture to the soil at the end of the growing season. The soil was gradually restored and saturated with microelements after the active growth of ficus.

I carried out top dressing every 10 days. This is enough for the fall. But the amount of feeding was abundant, since the plant is large. A large amount of trace elements was needed and the soil was quickly depleted.

Nettle tincture has proven to be effective. After a while, the ficus began to grow, the pigmentation on the leaves decreased. I was pleased with this tool.
