Electric heat gun: when to use it and why it pays off in the future
The Ballu VNR-R-3 electric heat gun is a mobile air heater, fan heater for use in large rooms.
The principle of its operation is simple: the heating element in the housing is constantly heated to a very high temperature, and through this incandescent tube taken out by a spiral the air flow is forced fan. The result is a powerful jet of high temperature air.
The heating element of this heat gun is made of stainless steel.
The power of the device is 30 watts. Power is supplied from a regular 220 volt outlet.
There are several modes of operation. You can turn it on at 1/2 of its power (15 W) - so that it does not “fry” so much electricity. Or you can use it simply as a powerful fan, without heating the heating element - this is the third mode.
The Ballu VNR-R-3 heat gun can be continuously driven for 24 hours, then you need to rest for 2 hours, and again you can not turn it off for 24 hours.
I have successfully used this appliance to remove damp and dry the interior walls of a house built during a wet season. As soon as the heating was turned on, incredible dampness appeared in the new house, the walls began to sweat intensely, and there was no end in sight to this process.
With the help of a heat gun, it turned out in a couple of weeks to completely drive out the dampness from the house and effectively dry its internal walls. This was done simply: the device was rearranged from room to room and drove warm air onto damp walls around the clock. Fortunately, electricity at that time was still free. At current rates, such drying, of course, would have cost a pretty penny.
On the other hand, when it comes to combating dampness, no money is spared. After all, if mold starts in the walls of a newly built house, it will be very difficult to drive it out of the corners later. People poison it with vinegar and various special means, but this only brings a temporary effect.
Therefore, the Ballu BHR-P-3 heat gun helped a lot to dry a house built in a wet and slushy season.
