3 Gross mistakes due to which violets Do not bloom. Good to know for all growers
I have always admired the beautiful flowers of violets, however, when I decided to plant them at home, some unforeseen difficulties arose.
The flowers died in almost a month, and it was a real shock for me. Only now, having gained experience, I know all the subtleties that need to be observed when growing violets.
I want to tell you about three blunders that keep violets from growing.
Pot size matters
One of my mistakes was that I transplanted a violet flower from a small pot in which I acquired a flower into a large and spacious pot.
For some reason it seemed to me that the flower was cramped in a small pot - this was one of the reasons why the violet bloomed me poorly. Only later did I find out that violets are comfortable in small pots, because it is in them that these wonderful flowers are capable of blooming and hanging their beautiful flowers during the period of bouquet flowering.
For violets, it is best to choose a pot about 1/3 of the diameter. This potted volume will be quite enough for this flower.
If you plant a flower in a large pot, the violet will not bloom until the roots have taken up all the soil and only then the plant will bloom. By the way, also in large pots, violets age and die much faster.
The violet itself does not bloom
I also came to the conclusion that this flower should not be left "to the mercy of fate."
If your only care for a flower is watering, then don't be surprised that all this can negatively affect the general condition of the violet. How to properly care for this plant?
For even flowering of this plant, it is best to turn it over to the sun, if it is on your windowsill. For a flower to bloom evenly and look beautiful, it needs a lot of light.
It is also very important to ensure that there are no stepsons on the violet, because it is because of them that the flower may not be comfortable in the pot. By the way, stepchildren can also be rooted if desired.
Do not "put on a diet" this flower
This flower requires a lot of micro and macro elements. If there is not enough potassium and phosphorus, the flower may die.
Violets are considered one of the most whimsical flowers. It is best to replant violets as often as possible, or change the soil.
If you follow all the rules for the correct cultivation of violets, you will definitely be able to grow a wonderful flower that will delight you with its beauty.
