In order to feed the yeast mash geranium I took:
- 2 liters waterSuitable for watering houseplants. It is advisable not only defended, but passed through the filter. It remains to guess what the impurities in the water and see if they harm the plant. At the cottage, I use well water when its temperature is the temperature of the air.
- Little dry yeast (I take about half a bag). In fact, there is no strict numbers. Yeast (of course, not in gigantic proportions) are safe for plants.
- 1 tablespoon of sugar - "food" for the yeast to ferment it better.
Method of preparation is very simple: Mix the ingredients in the water supply fluid for a few hours in a warm place. Then pour the diluted concentrate (about 1 to 5) at the root of geranium (this is best done early in the morning), try not to fall on the flower leaves.
By the way, the yeast feeding - it is also a way to prevent fungal diseases. Yeast themselves - are actively breeding in the soil fungi, safe for plants. But they displace pathogenic microflora, leading to rot and other dangerous diseases of indoor and garden plants.
