A simple track in the country made of old car tires: 2 economy options (always dry and clean)
We have already written about all sorts of options for making garden paths. Concrete, old bricks, pallets, burnt wood. Nice, comfortable and inexpensive.
Of the old tires, they were also mentioned on our RemontDom channel. But there is another idea to make inexpensive, comfortable tracks from used tires.
This method is good for giving. Tracks can even be made portable. Let's talk about 2 ways.
All you need to create a track from tires:
- Tires,
- Self-tapping screws,
- Beam, board (pallets can be used).
No need to cut the tires with a grinder. This is extra work. Whole tires will be needed. I have a lot of tires on the site. My wife had always intended to throw them away or make flower beds, but I have a more interesting plan.
This track is suitable for any terrain, with any soil. You can move it to any place. there is 2 options to make a track from tires: portable or in the form of a monolithic tape.
Option 1
A structure of docked identical elements. One block construction consists of 1 tire and plank flooring. Select the boards of the required length and connect them with self-tapping bars or nails.
You need to make a gap between the boards. It will not hurt to process the wood from moisture. You need to put a tire on the finished flooring and a block is inserted inside the tire, which is attached with a self-tapping screw. Make a hole in the tires themselves so that the water does not stagnate, but flows down.
Option 2
The track is in the form of a monolithic tape. Tires are stacked along the line. You can remove the soil so that the track is not high. Or just bury the tires at ground level.
Next, a bar is applied, as shown in the photo below. Pre-treat the tree from rotting special. composition.
In the tires themselves (inside) they are fastened with self-tapping screws for cutting boards. Then the timber is attached to the rubber with self-tapping screws. Then boards of equal length are nailed across. The track does not stagger, does not spring, is stable. Now it will not be scary to go outside in any weather (you won't get your feet wet).
