When instead of an alarm clock - a rooster, or Hundred charms of a house in the village

Today our story will be about how not to go crazy with clean air, environmentally friendly products, wood in the yard and other delights of suburban life.

My story may seem atypical, because we are talking about the south of Mother Russia. In Siberia it will be different. However, I can share it next time.

Is it difficult to move from city to country? It was not difficult for me.

When instead of an alarm clock - a rooster, or Hundred charms of a house in the village

There are three reasons: I was born in a village, I always wanted to go barefoot from the porch to the fresh grass on a weekend, and our small town was only 10 kilometers away.

An additional bonus was offered an almost individual sea beach, to which, however, you had to go a little.

The decision to move was spontaneous, but at first the conditions turned out to be almost fabulous: to live in your house, to keep order, to cultivate a garden-vegetable garden is welcome. And there was even a supply of firewood for the first winter.

From the first minute I just drank in the clean air from the sea,

the complete absence of neighbors from below and above and a mass of apples, pears, nuts in their own garden.

Even the fact that in the morning I was now awakened by the cock only added joyful euphoria.

I enjoyed rustling the leaves in the garden, wrapping apples for the winter, picking walnuts.

And yes, she received money from her rented apartment in the city. There was such an agreement - to live, to see, if you like it - to make a purchase.

When the first autumn joys ended, the unexpected began to creep out.

It turned out that it is very sad in our village without a car. Public transport “out of season” was in no hurry to walk. Although this problem was solved quickly - the money from the rented apartment was enough for both a driving school and a simple car. But my child first had to suffer - we did not want to change the city school. And when does the second shift and the last bus leave for the village? Thank you, the teachers were understanding. We could have let go early.

And then winter began... And it turned out to be unusually cold for the south.

We only had 2 rooms where you could heat the stove. And even the kitchen is a southern option, without a single battery. I had to get up “in the night”, toss up logs so that the child could sleep comfortably. Heat the kettle right in the hall. And before each shower, open the doors wide so that warmth reaches the shower. But we had our own home sauna. Although the tension in the years before the Olympics was sometimes not enough for a computer.

A couple of times I was late for work, because the transport “got up” from a sudden snowfall.

But the icy forest was overwhelming.

I can describe my country life endlessly. How happy in the first spring the blossoming gardens and surrounding slopes.

As I did not have time to sell and distribute cherries. But there were only four trees in the garden. As with a friend who arrived in the summer, they were spinning an unprecedented crop of tomatoes in four hands. As in a small rural store I met my Siberian countrywoman. Which made the hikes here much warmer.

For all these activities, the winter stove with firewood, and the interruptions in water, which is typical for the south, were forgotten. And groundwater in one of the cellars in the spring. And even an infinite number of documents that had to be processed. And along with them, the re-measurement of sites (a very frequent occurrence here), the collection of an insane number of signatures, the expectation of one masters or others.

So now I can easily hand out advice about the device in a country house and enjoy further rooster singing in the morning.
