Pumpkin pies in the oven: you need the simplest and most inexpensive products
These pies are soft and very aromatic. Making pumpkin pies in the oven requires simple, inexpensive foods. So, we need:
pumpkin - 700 grams;
lemon zest - 40 grams;
sugar - 140 grams;
dry yeast - 9 grams;
kefir - half a liter;
flour - about 600 grams;
sunflower oil - half a glass.
Step 1. Making the filling. We clean the pumpkin from seeds and peels and cut it into cubes. Add sugar and lemon zest to the sliced pumpkin and mix well. Pour sunflower oil into a hot frying pan and send the pumpkin to fry. We fry it until the liquid disappears. Let the filling cool.
Step 2. Knead an elastic yeast dough and let it rise once. We knead it and cut off a small piece, which we roll out with a rolling pin. Put the filling in the middle of the dough and form a pie.
Step 3. Grease a baking sheet with vegetable oil and put the pies on it. Grease the pies with sunflower oil on top. Let the pies stand for about 15 minutes and send them to the oven preheated to 185 degrees. We bake pies for 50-60 minutes.
Step 4. Put the hot pies in a saucepan and close it with a lid so that the pies become softer.
