What kind of heater to heat the apartment so that it is inexpensive and looks beautiful

When the fan heater burned out before the new year, they thought that they would have to pay a decent amount to get a worthy replacement for it.

We searched for several days in terms of price-quality ratio

It was important for us that the new heater:

Infrared floor heater Engy EN-505 mini pleasantly surprised at first with its cost, and then with its characteristics. It looks like this.

Pros:

1. Compact (width 30 cm, height 36 cm, width at the base 11 cm).

2. The room became warm after 5-10 minutes.

3. Price - only 629 rubles. The price of the last device was about 5,000 rubles.

4. Very lightweight. Can be moved around the house. Safe (with comments).

5. Discreet color, streamlined lines. In general, for the money, he is excellent.

About security. Such heaters must not be covered with anything - a fire may occur.

The protective grill heats up quite a lot, for moving you need to use only the handle on the back.

But it is worth noting that the manufacturer has foreseen all the risks: if the heater is tilted or lifted, it will automatically turn off before returning to a stable, flat surface.

Minuses:

1. Two heating modes are regulated by keys - it is not very convenient, you have to either raise it or bend over.

2. The cord is only 110 cm long. (together with a plug). Not enough for me personally.

3. It smells like burnt if a lot of dust gets on the grill.

Taking into account all the indicators, the Engy EN-505 mini has much less cons than its predecessor. Previously, I had to leave the heater on all night, but now it takes 10-15 minutes to keep the room warm until morning.

The power of the fan heater is 1800 W, and that of the 505 mini is 800 W. I don’t know how this affects electricity consumption, but the bills started coming in less frightening.
