I remember that once upon a time, on my wedding anniversary, my husband gave me a lovely orchid. It was then that I got the idea to create a small tropical garden. But on my way there appeared, as it seemed to me then, a real problem - it was necessary to wake up its dormant buds for the reproduction of the orchid.

There were difficulties and even failures, but fortunately, in the end, I learned to wake up sleeping kidneys and would like to tell you about my method.

Creation of optimal conditions

In order to stimulate the awakening of orchid buds for flower reproduction, it is important to create comfortable conditions for this.

· Provide air temperature differences during the day and night by no more than 10 degrees. At the same time, it is important that daytime temperatures do not fall below 25 degrees.

· Room humidity should be about 60%.

· Place the flowerpot in a shaded area, thereby reducing its illumination.

· Minimize watering of the flower, but at the same time carry out regular spraying of the orchid (at least 5 times a day).

· Feed the plant with fertilizers with a high concentration of nitrogen, which prevents flowering and at the same time activates the growth processes of green mass.

If you have conscientiously created all the specified conditions, but the long-awaited sprouts are not shown, I recommend using special preparations for stimulation.

One of the most popular and effective such drugs is cytokinin paste, which at the hormonal level stimulates the awakening of the kidneys.

I have used this component several times, I can vouch for its effectiveness.

Application features

First of all, choose the kidney you plan to awaken. Using a sterile and sharp knife, it is necessary to cut the protective scales on the sides on both sides, and then remove them without hindrance.

Now you will see a small green formation - this is our sleeping kidney. Take a toothpick and apply cytokinin paste to it, then spread it liberally over the kidney.

After 10 days, you will see the result: the long-awaited shoots will certainly appear
