Christmas decoration made from empty toilet paper rolls

Greetings to the readers of the Kulibin channel. New Year is coming soon, which means that we are starting a series of homemade products specifically for the New Year holidays. This time we will make beautiful toys from empty toilet paper tubes. Paper towel tubes can be used, though.

This is how the toys themselves look. Next, we will consider step by step how to make this beauty with your own hands.

As the main tools and materials, we need:

• Empty paper tubes
• Stapler
• Brush for painting the tube
• Any paint (preferably acrylic or gouache)
• Decor elements.

Everything is simple with decorative elements. Before the New Year, in various retail outlets, they start selling all sorts of decorative buns, usually these are felt stencils in the form of snowflakes, snowmen, hearts and other nice things. This is what we need.

Next, paint the paper tube in the color of your choice and let it dry.

Now, using a ruler, mark exactly the center of the tube as shown in the photo. This is a very important point and it is better not to do this "by eye", since the petals of the toy will then not stick out evenly and spoil the whole view.

Next, bend the tube in half with a ruler, as in the photo.

We apply the open edges of the tube to each other and fix it with a stapler.

From a standard roll of paper, you need to make five of these petals. If the roll is larger, then there will be more petals. The main thing here is that when these petals are combined into one flower, a large hole does not appear in the center of the flower and the tubes do not crush each other.

We put the petals together and again fasten them with a stapler. You will get such a figure as in the photo. It doesn't look very happy, but this is only the basis and the main feature of this toy is the additional decor.

Next, use a glue gun to fix the decorative elements. In our case, this is a ribbon with beads.

In the center, we fix the snowflake with glue and now our toy is ready. If you plan to decorate it with a Christmas tree, then additionally fasten the loop.

Here's another option. The bottom edging made of old tulle was used to decorate the edge of the flower. It turned out very effectively.

Another option. In the center there are plastic balls from old jewelry and rain along the edges.

As you can see, everything is very simple, cheap and cheerful. And most importantly, done by hand, which is already pleasing))

Then turn on your imagination and sculpt whatever you want, the main thing is to collect empty toilet paper tubes somewhere)
