This, at first glance, simple and accessible material has crazy potential. Don't believe me? But in vain! For an ordinary pine cone can be food (jam, syrup, tea, seasoning ...), and a medicine, and, of course, a decorative element! Able to transform both the interior and the exterior of the house in the blink of an eye, filling it with a festive mood, warmth and comfort.

At the same time, the cone is an extremely budgetary natural material! Coy can be assembled with your own hands in the forest, bought offline (in a store of goods for floristry and creativity) or online at a market place (for example, Avito, goods.ru ...). After all, this product costs from 2 rubles / piece. up to 350 rubles / bag 60 liters. But a bag is a lot! Unless you are planning to launch your own business, 50-60 pieces will be enough for you to decorate the interior of a small apartment in an original way.

1.Decor for pens. Even such a trifle as a doorknob can become a highlight of a festive interior if you decorate it according to your mind: for example, with a beautiful pendant.

To do this, take a cone, tie the upper part of it between the scales with a thick thread or ribbon. Then put 2-3 small wooden balls on the thread. Actually, the decorative element is ready! Now you can add some glitter or white paint to the scales and hang the original pendant directly on the handle.

2.Pine garland. Garland is another must-have attribute of the New Year. And if you are lucky enough to collect or purchase a lot of cones for a cheap price, then it's time to combine some of them into one simple craft.

You will need approximately 40 dried buds. Now take some jute twine or hemp twine and start tying the buds to it with a thin wire. Try to fix them in groups, leaving no gaps, so you get a visually beautiful garland. Which will look good both on a festive table and on a Christmas tree surrounded by fir branches, small candles and winter toys.

3.Alternative to the Christmas tree. You don't have the opportunity to put up a big Christmas tree for the New Year? No problem! Replace it with a small Christmas tree - maybe not even one - made of cones and pine twigs!

To do this, take a clean tin can and wrap it in a coarse cloth such as burlap. Then, using glue, securely fasten the edges of the fabric, tie a bow made of string in the center and then fill the jar with twigs and cones. That's it, the alternative Christmas tree is ready!

4.New Year's snowflake. Did you know that snowflakes can be made not only from colored paper and cardboard, wire and felt, plastic bottles and beads, but also from cones? So, prepare 5 small pine cones and a fabric snowball - cotton wool, glue and paint.

Now glue the bumps into a five-pointed star, leaving a small gap in the center, where you will later lay the "fabric snowball". Wait a little, and then dust it with fake snow or white paint and tie a string. I am sure that such a New Year's snowflake will be in place both on the wall or ceiling, and on the window, on the doorway or on the festive table.

5.DIY candle. I warn you right away: making such an exclusive candle will not be easy. You will need all your patience and sleight of hand. But the result is worth it!

Take a few cones (10 pcs.) And use pliers to remove large scales. Then paint them gold or bronze. Once the paint is dry, glue them onto a glass container (glass, thin glass, jar ...) using superglue to create an artificial bump. Wait until it is completely dry. All that remains is to put a candle in a container and light it. So, the romantic decorative element is ready!
