Features of the choice of stands

When choosing a stand for a coniferous tree, safety should be in the first place, because a falling Christmas tree can lead not only to broken balls and plates on the festive table, but also injuries. There is a wide variety of coasters, I propose to sort out their assortment together:

· Wooden. The cheapest option, besides, it is easy to do it yourself. But this type of product should not be chosen for trees higher than a meter. In addition, deformation is possible during storage, which makes the wooden stand unreliable.

· Metallic. A stand made of such material will serve for many years. Forged products look especially elegant. When buying, experts recommend paying attention to the integrity of the metal coating, since rust can form on low-quality products in contact with moisture.

· Ceramic stands appeared on our market only a few years ago. They do not rust, do not deform, look stylish, but fragile at the same time.

· Polypropylene - the most common type of stands. Cheap, lightweight and can be used for trees up to 2 m. Of the "minuses" they are easily scratched, burst under excessive load.

Ceramic and polypropylene coasters can be equipped with water / wet earth tanks.

Before buying, check for what tree height the product is designed for, check the ease of movement of the fasteners. If there is a tank, inspect its integrity (no cracks, holes). Please note that the inner diameter of the tree stands is small and not suitable for “live” trees.
