We chose a shower cabin, but we bought a shower enclosure - why did they make such a choice?
Today we went to the store for bathroom equipment. The most important purchase was a shower stall. Moreover, on this issue, my husband and I categorically disagreed. And this happens extremely rarely, because we both think quite rationally.
He believes that we need a closed shower so that hot steam does not escape into the bathroom during washing. He likes it when there is a fairly high pallet at the cabin and everything is sealed.
Such models cause acute hostility to me, I immediately recall either a hospital or boarding houses in the south, in which such structures have been installed from time immemorial. 15-20 years ago, they may have been relevant, but not now.
To cope with hot steam, in my opinion, the forced ventilation, which we are planning to do in the bathroom, is quite capable. Moreover, we have a separate shaft for it in the ventilation duct.
Therefore, I usually bypass such models. I am attracted by the open shower corner with a low base that is almost invisible. Beautiful tiles on the walls will be visible through the transparent glass; they will visually expand the space. And our not too big bathroom will seem more spacious.
In addition, in my opinion, the shower corner is a more modern option than the glass coffin of the cubicle.
And so, I found about what I wanted. Two-meter height. This is important, since our son is very tall and he will be comfortable in such a booth.
Low pallet, very stable, on a metal frame. When I entered the cockpit, it did not even budge under me, unlike the plastic ones, which sag under my weight.
Conveniently located door - not against the wall, but on the outside of the corner. Tempered glass, impact resistant. A silicone seal is made on the glazing. The profile is made of anodized aluminum.
In general, my husband agreed with me, and we bought this corner. Now you need to choose a soul group.
