How to accumulate heat in the basement and warm the house with it all winter?

The issues of economical heating of a residential building have been exciting the minds of the intelligent part of Homo Sapiens, mainly the male part of it, for several decades. And with the introduction of the night electricity tariff, interest in the topic only increases.

In this article, we will look at how you can accumulate heat so that you can use it economically to heat your home later.

The first and most common way, which I personally like, but not suitable for wooden houses - the use of underfloor heating and a huge buffer tank - a heat accumulator. You heat water at a cheap nightly rate - you warm yourself with inertial heat all day. Good and inexpensive.

But only for residents of wooden houses with floors on logs, this method is not available: wet work in a house made of wood is a dangerous thing. And in order to fill in a full-fledged screed, you need to dismantle the floor, install supports, channels, profiled sheets, waterproofing and only then fill the screed with ECP pipes.

In fact, this is an electric convector, in the body of which 8-12 magnesite bricks are placed. This material accumulates heat and releases it through the dampers for 10-12 hours - even when the electricity tariff is expensive.

I say right away: they are not brought to Russia, I myself have been looking for it for a long time. At one time in Nizhny Tagil, the German company Technoterm produced such devices, they were called TN 2520 (2530, 2540), but the company was closed - the Germans are not interested in receiving pennies when converted into euros from our Russians ...

The third way to store heat - make a heat accumulator in the basement of your own house, or in the underground between the walls of the strip foundation. Here the main carrier of heat will be concrete and water, enclosed in pipes embedded in concrete. The pipes can be connected to a solar system and heat water from the sun even in winter. How to make a heat accumulator in the basement? Explained in the video below:

I leave room for your comments, questions, clarifications. I'll tell you more about where to get the storage heater if someone is interested in it.
