Life hacks in the kitchen: I suggest using those things that we were ready to throw out, but it turns out that they can still be used
Nowadays, you can buy almost everything. The fantasy of manufacturers of various kitchen appliances knows no boundaries. We buy them and, after using them a couple of times, put them in kitchen cabinets, since their convenience is very relative.
On the contrary, I suggest using those things that we were ready to throw out, but it turns out that they can still be used, and only then thrown into the trash can. And you don't need to spend money.
First, the most seemingly unnecessary thing, a plug from a bottle of vegetable oil. Everyone throws it out without hesitation. But try to insert it into place, after you open the bottle, just the other way around - with the ring inward. The plug holds well. The main thing is not to overdo it and do not push it inward.
And then look at how the oil is poured in a dosed, thin stream - now you will definitely not use it more than you need. And you don't have to buy a dispenser, which also needs to be washed.
Juice box. What could be more useless - in her trash. But for me such boxes serve as excellent containers for seedlings. They are solid, foil-coated inside, that is, they do not get wet. The seedling roots in them do not freeze on the windowsill and do not overheat in the heat.
These are the perfect pots. And completely free.
Here's a can of peaches. It is large, liter. Where would it seem to come in handy? But I use it to sterilize cans during the harvesting season.
It is very good, just perfect in size, fits a three-liter jar. Boiling water in a tin can perfectly sterilize and kill all germs. Five minutes - and the jar is ready to bookmark products.
And no sterilizer is needed. In order to also sterilize liter cans, I have fitted steel wire jumpers. They are already many years old. But I change the banks every year, because they quickly rust.
Therefore, I do not throw these cans away until they are sterilized.
