Choosing a house for mom for permanent residence with gas heating - these are the boilers in the village

After my mother sat in the apartment during the restrictions, she resolutely said that she wants to live in the village. I used to live permanently at the dacha, but our dacha is not suitable for permanent residence.

We started looking for a house for her in a village near the dacha settlement. And just, a house was for sale in the center of the village, next to shops, a paramedic center, a club. The price was like a city apartment. But the owners refused to slow down, arguing that they have autonomous gas heating, water and all the amenities. But when we came to see this heating, we saw in the kitchen what kind of gas boiler was heating this house.

It turned out to be a floor-standing single-circuit gas boiler RGA. It is floor-standing, located in a room where there is a direct opportunity to connect gas pipes and arrange an exhaust hood. The hood here was simply unique - a rather picturesque pipe made of tin ran from the boiler through a hole in the wall.

There was a gas meter on the wall nearby. Thick pipes approached him. The whole system looks very cumbersome, but it fulfills its function. The meter is sealed, readings are recorded next to it.

A gas leakage sensor is installed on the pipe, which gives a signal when the gas concentration in the room increases. Such sensors are sold in any store and are installed at the request of the owners. The homeowners took security seriously.

In general, the owners are very clean, the house was clean, everything shone, no slovenliness. It was evident that the equipment was constantly monitored and maintained.

All walls and floors that were near the boiler were covered with metal sheets. Of course, this would not have prevented the gas from exploding if it leaked. But from overheating of the walls and floor - quite.

The gas supply hoses, however, were not secured, which was quite dangerous. One was even tied with a touching rope. Apparently, so as not to interfere.

The first impression of this heating system was unimportant, but when we examined everything in detail, we realized that it was reliable, in Russian, the system made would not let us down. And in case of any malfunction, it will be possible to do it on your own, and not call the masters.

Mom liked the rest of the decor in the house; no special repairs were required, except for cosmetic ones. The site also arranged for her, there was even a well on it, except for the water supply. Therefore, we faced lengthy negotiations with the owners to reduce prices and purchase such wealth.
