How to feed Pepper seedlings so that they build a large "beard" of roots and grow successfully. Recipes with and without chemistry

Flaming fireworks, comrades vegetable growers!

Today on the agenda is an overriding question: how to get sweet pepper seedlings to grow really strong roots, and not miserable hairs. There is no need to diminish the importance of the root system. What you grow it, you get such seedlings. This is, so to speak, a bright indicator of the health and prospects of each seedling.

Let's talk about what fertilizers are needed for pepper seedlings that stimulate root growth. Consider both the correct "chemistry" and the natural alternative. And at the end I will tell you one simple trick, not related to top dressing at all.

Mineral dressing of pepper seedlings: quickly and efficiently

For some reason, some citizens call such products "Fu, chemistry!" And I call it: effective mineral fertilizers. Which give a quick desired result, are easy to use and accessible to everyone. And they do not turn seedlings into mutants, which then give a toxic crop until the end of summer.

For root growth, pepper seedlings are fed with phosphorus fertilizers. P (phosphorus) is applied on a sheet, which is proudly called foliar feeding. Exclusively because of the speed of action: the leaves of the substances are absorbed faster and immediately act as intended. Already with someone, and with seedlings every day counts!

Potassium Monophosphate - Best Option (50% Phosphorus)

As a dedicated fan of the widespread and highly effective potassium monophosphate, I cannot remain silent. Comrade: there is in every store and... working! I prefer to take "Buisky" monophosphate. Probably out of habit.

I will take the liberty of calling potassium monophosphate one of the ideal feedings

The time to fertilize comes when the pepper releases 3-4 true leaves. The norm is 1 g per 1 liter of water.

At first, all mineral fertilizers are easier to dissolve in a small volume of warm water, then pour into a spray bottle and top up with clean water.

Other phosphate fertilizers

It is possible to simulate a situation when potassium monophosphate is for some reason unavailable. Then take any other phosphorus fertilizer, but carefully study the instructions for each specific agent.

Approximate gramme of potassium monophosphate: maybe someone will come in handy

I do not recommend superphosphate: as long as you dissolve, seven sweats will come off. Better to try "ammophos" or kraynyak - something for flowering indoor plants, where there is a lot of phosphorus.

Top dressing of pepper for root growth WITHOUT chemistry

The only natural fertilizer rich in phosphorus is bone meal. It contains as much as 21% of the substance needed there (that is, pepper). That, you must agree, comrades, is very, very good for organic fertilizing.

But it acts more slowly than mineral dressings, therefore, it is used in a different way:

I did not specify the cost. But the wallet will definitely not hit
  • sprinkle the soil in a container before sowing, after a dive, or now, when he just learned about the properties of bone meal.
  • make an infusion, keeping 50 g in 1 liter of water for a week. Then it is diluted 1 to 20 (for example, a 5-cubic syringe is poured into a 100 ml glass of water) and used for irrigation.

I would choose the first option, sprinkling with soil.

There is also a way to stimulate the growth of the root system of pepper without fiddling.. Just pour the seedlings into the pallet. Naive seedlings, without suspecting anything, will begin to grow roots at a frantic pace in order to get closer to life-giving moisture. Good luck!
