We bought a house with a gas boiler, but when they entered the boiler room, they were horrified at what they saw, but see for yourself

We bought our country house through an agency. We needed a house, without fail, with heating and hot water. And so, when we found a suitable option, we went to watch it.

The seller was very proud that he had a two-circuit gas boiler, with a manifold and the ability to adjust the temperature on the batteries. In principle, we liked the house, although it was launched and, of course, required repairs. But we were not going to live in rooms where all the decoration was created by the old owners.

But when we entered the boiler room, a very picturesque picture awaited us.

The boiler is, in fact, a gas, two-circuit Navien Ace. This is a Korean company, I have seen similar boilers more than once. It is quite easy to maintain and does not require any special skills.

The boiler has a remote control panel, which is very convenient. And here it is present, but installed in the same boiler room. There is also an uninterruptible power supply, which makes it possible for the boiler to work quietly with power drops.

And there is an expansion tank, which is very good. It serves to reduce the overpressure in the system and, of course, ensures its safety.

And the collector - "comb" is also available, the circuits of the heating system come out of it. Each circuit is equipped with a valve, that is, it can be turned off. There is also a pressure gauge on the lower manifold. That is, in principle, upon close examination, there is nothing to complain about.

A huge gas meter with thick pipes is installed here. It's good that he's not in the house.

But everything was done so crookedly, so slovenly that the first impression was very disgusting. I wanted to slam the door and run out of this boiler room.

The still unkempt walls and window created an additional impression of chaos and danger. I think that the owner, who was very proud of his heating system and DHW system, did not notice this. But we, the buyer and the realtor, were a little shocked. However, they decided to buy the house. After all, it was warm, and hot water flowed from the taps regularly. And repair in the boiler room is a matter of time.
