The power tool that I use in construction and in the country (my choice)

Everyone who has a tool in their arsenal can select from the list and recommend something. For some characteristics or just for an interesting price and quality. I will also share this list.

For a machine for cutting aerated concrete (when erecting the walls of a house), I decided to assemble a machine based on an electric saw with a chain with victorious solders. I spied on the idea on the Internet, but I designed the design of my machine myself. The electric saw needed a powerful one, not less than 2000 W, but also not expensive, maintainable. The choice was made towards the model Huter ELS-2000.

Because assembled a machine for cutting aerated concrete without the use of welding, then an electric drill was needed. There is, of course, a screwdriver, but something more powerful was needed. We recommended a model with a gearbox in a metal case:

Resanta DU-15 / 950M 75/8/4. Power is 950 W.

During the construction of aerated concrete, the masonry must be reinforced. To do this, the blocks need to be grooved. In most cases, this is done with a special hand tool. I spied the process of getting strobes using a router on one construction channel in YouTube. I got a router with a power regulator PIT. PEM006-C2

Using a 20 mm cutter, I made grooves, blown out of them with a simple household hairdryer. The work has become much easier. I would do the strobes with a hand tool for 2-3 hours. And with the help of a router - in 30-40 minutes. An article about this with a link to a video of the process here

I have long wanted to buy a welding machine, but there was no really good reason for this. During the construction season 2020 nevertheless, a welding machine (inverter) was needed to weld screeds on the floor slabs of a house under construction. There were no alternatives to welding.

This model was acquired on the recommendation of a friend who owns a power tool store. The wire does not bother me, you just need to get used to it. But the process of mowing grass on the site takes place without diluting gasoline with oil, refueling the engine. And the noise from the electric trimmer is much less.

For sharpening knives and grinding small parts I use a mini-engraver with a set of cutters and grinding attachments. He appeared with me a long time ago, but was surprised that this model can still be purchased. Review and video here

For work at a construction site at night and in general, for a summer residence, I can recommend three bright flashlights with built-in Li-Ion batteries.

Of course, there is another tool in use: a screwdriver, a perforator, a grinder (angle grinder), a jigsaw, an electric plane. There is a chainsaw, an electric generator. It was purchased for a long time, something has already been repaired, but something still serves without a single breakdown.
