We bought a rimless toilet - I tell you what I liked and what did not work

We spent about a month looking for a good but inexpensive toilet. In each model, something did not suit. It seems that the choice is huge, but when you begin to present your requirements, it turns out that single copies are suitable for them.

We needed only a porcelain toilet with a smooth surface, on which no dirt remains or sticks. We were looking for a toilet with a glazed surface under the rim, but such models cost 20 thousand rubles or more. In addition, a comfortable large seat was needed, and not a small one, since the people in the family are large. And, what is important - the anti-splash system, with which we have always had all models of toilet bowls. But it was impossible to buy something that met all these requirements at an affordable price.

Finally, after much hesitation, we decided to buy a new-fashioned rimless toilet. None of the friends and relatives had such a model, so there was nowhere to see it. We decided to become pioneers.

As the name suggests, this toilet has no rim at all. But the design of the inner space is such that the flow of water at the moment of emptying the tank is built over the entire surface. The strength of this current is much higher, since there is no obstacle in the form of a rim. In addition, the design provides for special channels that divide the water flow into several separate jets. These jets are delivered at the correct angle so that no water spills out of the toilet bowl.

The rimless toilet technology, as we learned on the internet, is still in the process of being developed and improved. Our toilet has a minimum indentation at the top of the product. Other models do not have such grooves at all and are completely smooth.

Our toilet is floor-standing, we did not even consider the suspended model, especially since we had a sewer hole it is provided, namely, under a floor-standing toilet at the stage of designing a house and installing a water supply system and sewerage.

Draws on its hidden fastening to the floor. When fastening, the place is first selected where the toilet will finally stand. Then this place is marked with a marker and special corners are attached to the floor, on which the bowl is then placed. Then it is screwed on with a special fastener and as a result it looks very neat and hidden.

This toilet saves 30% of water. Since we have our own sewage system, we also have to think about filling it with drains. Saving water is therefore double-edged.

The button has two sectors for draining - 3 liters and 6 liters. It is very convenient. Moreover, the internal fittings are quite high quality, the warranty period is 10 years.

The seat is square. Convenient. But we noticed that it is colder when you sit on it than the toilet seat, which we have on the 2nd floor of the house.

I must say right away that for now, this is the only drawback that we have found. We will buy a cover for the bezel and put it on. Seat with microlift, lowers itself.

All hardware is metal, we hope. Which is better than plastic, which constantly breaks and the seat crawls from side to side.

The main question that everyone asks is whether water is splashing out? Answers - not a drop of water flies past! The jet is very strong, I can't even believe that only 3 liters are poured out when you press a small button, such a strong flow.

I wipe the toilet with a simple damp or rolled cloth, no more care is needed. Once a week I do a general cleaning with detergent, a brush and a sponge.

While the purchase is satisfied, the first month of use is fine.
