Will there be more orchids bloom?
Carefully inspect the tip of the peduncle. If it is green "living" color, then it is likely: The Escape will continue to grow, and on it the new buds appear. They may be dismissed soon, even in 2-3 months. But, if the spike gives no such "signs of life" - cut it without regret.

Properly cut the flower spike
There are two options:
- withered stems (yellowed or blackened). In this case, we delete it directly under the root.
- green stems. We use the trick! We cut it on a third node. So there is a chance, albeit small, that will be a new unit from the bottom.
