Natural feeding of peonies "without chemistry" in May, providing nutrition for the whole season. Enough for 1 loaf!
Flaming fireworks, fellow gardeners! It's not a secret to anybody: "Do you want to see peonies sleek and with lush hats? Provide them with decent food!". But there is a category of flower growers who shy away from chemical fertilizing, like the devil of incense. Of course, I do not share this position. But, citizens, your right.
Especially for adherents of organic farming, I offer one effective feeding of peonies "without chemistry". Which needs to be done now, in May, so that the plants receive nutrition until autumn. It - bread dressing.
Comrade, I'll be honest with you. In bread there is not and cannot be nutrients as such. Our folk dressing, which I recommend exclusively as an alternative to "chemical" means, works differently.
Getting into the ground, bread dressing begins... Right! What she is supposed to do is wander. And the fermentation process is the process of processing some substances into others, which takes place due to the vigorous activity of numerous and varied microorganisms.
Hello good bacteria and fungi! And the peony finds in all this jumble something that will feed him all season. Bread dressing creates a mini-compost heap right under the peony rhizome, thereby increasing soil fertility at the expense of its own resources.
The fertilizer preparation process is simple and cheap. All we need is 1 loaf of bread and 1 bucket of warm water (about 7-10 liters). The process will be more fun in warm water! By the way, you can take old, slightly dried bread - the effectiveness of our feeding will not suffer from this!
- Put the bread in the bucket.
- Put it in a warm place.
- Wait 1 day, or better - 2.
- I pour the slurry with the crumbs and pour it under the peony bush.
Thanks to a simple top dressing, biochemical processes will begin to take place in the soil. Small roots and other plant residues profitably and themselves are processed into nutrients for the peony. And he will surely appreciate it!
