I decided to put a separate "mini-panel" in my basement. I tell you: why is there a separate automation, what did you choose, and why?
The more I fiddle with my little basement, the more I think: “Am I going overboard? I will not live in this basement. " But I don't want to do it anyhow, and then modify and redo it, I don't want to even more ...
Friends, everyone, a huge hello. The basement of my house under construction is slowly filling up ...
- At first, the barrels came in.
- Then he connected all this with a system of HDPE pipes.
And the water purification system has already begun to emerge (all this background, in detail on my channel).
Now we turn to the electrics.
In general, there are many nuances here (especially for a beginner like me), but let's go in order, and start with the "heart" of the entire system.
Perhaps many expected to see a "super-system" 😁. But everything is pretty simple for me.
There are only three devices, but everything is on the case ...
Two circuit breakers:
- 10A for lighting.
- And 16A for power lines.
And in front of them is an RCD, with a shutdown current of 10 mA. This characteristic is just right for such a small and humid room.
- The length of the entire wiring is small, which means that there should be no false positives due to natural leakage.
- And at the same time it is very safe, with current leakage per person ...
But someone will already have a question, why is there a separate automation in the basement?
✔ Features of the room.
In my case, this is not just a place to store blanks. The basement will have a water purification system with enough electrical appliances. Together with the humidity around it, this creates increased requirements for the electrics, or rather, for protective automation.
✔ Convenience of management.
Of course, it would be possible to shove everything into a common electrical panel (which is not yet available). But when doing some work in the basement, it is much more convenient to have controls at hand ...
✅ Friends, I'm waiting for your ratings and advice in the comments. Maybe you need to add something, or modify it?
subscribe to the channel, and like it 👍. Continuation of all work ahead ...
