Tired of buying and ordering water. Acquired filter "Barrier Expert"

Is it necessary to filter the water? For me, this question disappears by itself when I see the scale that forms on the walls of the kettle, but all this gets into us. Therefore, people buy purified water, some to order, and some in special machines, so did I. But this is terribly inconvenient, clean water runs out at the most inopportune moment, so I decided to install a filter at home.

Why I chose Barrier Expert

Of course, because of the characteristics that suit me: it reduces the hardness of water, cleans it from chlorine and heavy metals, odors and tastes, not to mention sand and silt, which is full in old pipes. This provides three stages of cleaning, and the hardness is reduced by as many as two cartridges at once.

Easy to assemble and install, just insert the cartridge, press and turn in two seconds. And most importantly, you no longer need to buy water, and it is always at hand, plus a year's warranty. The filter resource is 1000 liters, I figured that this would be enough for my wife and me for six months.

Build and install

The filter kit has everything, you don't need to buy something, it's easy to assemble, I was sure that I would assemble it with ease, and so it happened, that's how you did it.

I looked at the connection diagram - you need to install the tap on the countertop or sink, fix the block from below for filters, install a ball valve on the water supply, it remains to connect the filters and two plastic tube.

From the tools, I needed a screwdriver, a 12 mm wood pen and two open-end wrenches for 14-17 and 22-24 to tighten the fastening nut and install the ball valve. The rest was screwed by hand, conveniently.

After finishing the installation, turn on the tap for 10 minutes to fill and rinse the filter stages.

Interesting

When using, I noticed that water boils faster, and since no new scale is formed, the old one falls off, the kettle began to clean itself. Surprised by the system of protection against accidental twisting despite the fact that the cartridges are easy to install when the water is cut off.

And when it comes in, pressure is created, which tightly presses the locks, preventing the filters from unscrewing.
