My love at second sight: unusual baby's breath in the gardens
Welcome growers!
Verdure has long been associated with bouquets of roses. Previously, "white lumps" on thin twigs were used in each of the first flower shop. To be honest, right now I think that it looks awful)
But the question of garden flowers. Only having got at the roses, I had not thought of the ideas of a better neighbor than a good old-fashioned baby's breath. Determined not to reinvent the wheel, I had no idea about such a disappointment.
Absolutely ugly, practicable, sprawling shrub was more like a weed. And the background for the roses - in the top three with a minus. Verdure thins the second half of the summer, but in the vastness is only getting bigger. Collapses in the rose, neighboring plants, obscures them. Such is the "fragile beauty":
Since that time I have only one thing clearly speaking for themselves Photo:
In short, the panicle. I escaped without regret
But just the other day, I again looked through instagramy gardeners and saw a very beautiful, a low flower. It looks gentle, modest, neat! And almost stupefied by reading the signature: baby's breath!
So I discovered a new species of plant:
This baby's breath creeping ground cover. It grows thick pads, up to 20 cm.
Ideal for edging beds, alpine gardens, rocky terraces and gardens. You can plant a few bushes nearby - and is a lush carpet.
Judging by the reviews, creeping baby's breath very taxing. Does not need fertile soil and fertilization, it grows by itself.
Girls, note: there is also pink and white. Made gallery, scroll:
