I often hear from women that the person who invented the automatic washing machine needs to erect a monument. In this case, I add that there should be a monument to the inventor of the polyurethane foam nearby, this is an ingenious material for construction.
Problem
I make repairs in the house for relatives, installed windows, sheathe the walls with plasterboard, often use glue-foam. Everything is fine, but a problem known to many has come out.
When installing the cylinder, part of the foam comes out, which gets on the thread of the gun. While using it, everything goes fine, but as soon as it needs to be replaced with a new one there is difficulty in unscrewing. It takes a lot of effort to tear off the glue that gets on the threads.
Since I always remove the ball valve from the pistol, I often have to hold the threaded part with an open-end wrench.
Solution
To get rid of such a nuisance, before installing, I lubricated the plastic thread of the cylinder with lithol. I worked it out, it was the turn to change the empty container to a new one, I also pre-lubricated it.
I unscrewed it by hand without any effort, just installed a new cylinder. No foam splashing on your hands and clothes, and I had one question.
Why didn't I think of this before? You waste seconds on thread lubrication, and save minutes on unproductive fuss.
