Many move to live in the city or go to the country for the summer. Striving for silence, tranquility, fresh air, you sometimes come across neighbors. Arguments can ruin everything planned.

If the plots are different, then the fence between neighbors is considered common. It so happens that neighbors quarrel over an old fence. For example, one neighbor proposes to replace the fence with a new one (from corrugated board), and the second neighbor wants to make it cheaper (from a chain-link mesh).

Reproaches arise in terms of weeds. One neighbor may blame another for growing weeds on his property.

We had such a case. We planted raspberries near the fence. She spread to her neighbor. I had to remove the raspberries elsewhere. I also had complaints about him. My neighbor got into the habit of storing old boards, slate near the common fence. He throws his cigarette butts over the fence, comes in without asking to my site in the fall to pick apples hanging over the fence.

Some rules

If you build a solid fence, then the height is no higher than 75 cm. Not a solid fence - no higher than 1.5 meters. If you want higher, then you need to ask permission and negotiate with a neighbor. It is possible to "grow" a low fence up to 2.2 m using light-permeable materials or a lattice. There is such a way out: to plant climbing plants along the net. They will close the entire view.

It so happens that you need to change the old, collapsing fence, but the neighbor does not want this. It is useless to prove anything and to scare the court.

Found a way out

You can put a new fence without removing the old one (if the neighbor does not want to do anything). It happened with me. There is a mesh fence between the sections. Such visibility did not suit us, and the fence was askew. I told my neighbor, he said that there was no money to build a new fence. I had to decide for myself what to do.

Thought and decided to install not a fence, but a kind of structure. I just had to retreat from the old fence (plot boundaries) 1 meter. But this is not to my detriment - the site is large. As a result, the old mesh fence remained. Now let the neighbor repair it himself (if he wants). I installed a solid fence (structure) from a profiled sheet, departing from the boundaries of 1 meter. Now he will not even be able to complain about the fact that his site is not ventilated and shaded. There are no such norms in the legislation and it is difficult to prove that this is so.

How could I not have thought of this before! There would not be so many disputes with neighbors. Now peace, silence and order.
