1.For tree trunk protection. If you are a summer resident, then you are aware that thin wire is often used to support young seedlings and trees. But here's the trouble - in a strong wind, it damages (and sometimes just rips off) the bark. So to prevent this from happening, I suggest using a piece of an old hose. To do this, simply thread the wire through a piece of leaky hose and do the usual stretch. Actually, that's it!

The tender bark will remain intact, and the tree will get stronger faster and will give you the first harvest.

2.Like a bucket handle. Carrying heavy metal buckets is very unpleasant. Since thin pens literally dig into the palm of your hand, turning an ordinary routine into torment. Therefore, it is better to foresee and make a protective pad — in our case, from an old hose. You just need to cut off a piece of hose slightly shorter than the handle, and then cut it lengthwise.

All that remains is to put the hose over the handle and make sure that the bucket filled to the brim has become much easier to transfer.

3.As a "storage system" for garden tools. Storing your garden tools neatly in the corner of a shed or along a wall is not the best option. 5.For outdoor cable protection. It often happens that on the site you need to lay an electric cable and preferably underground (after all, you don’t want to hang "snot"): for example, up to a post, gate or pump. And there is a need for its protection, because it is extremely easy to damage the cable by accidental movement of a shovel.

And this is where the good old watering hose comes to your rescue! If you are just laying communications, just push the cable inside the hose using a broach. If you decide to protect already "live" wiring, then first cut the hose along its entire length, and then put it on top of the cable. Almost corrugated, but only stronger!

6.Like an LED strip. Did you know that with the help of a hose you can decorate a summer cottage or a vegetable garden in a very original and unusual way? In this case, you only need an old hose and paint, but the latter is not ordinary, but with a phosphorescent effect. Now paint the hose and lay it along the flower bed, fence, or garden path.
