It is quite convenient to have heating built into the floor. Turning it on in the evening, the family will be comfortable for dinner and sleep.

It is possible that the ancient tradition originated from here. Previously, rooms were heated with hot air from a stove built into the clay floor. Hot Ondol air circulated through the pipes;

· Koreans love to take care of their health. Sleeping on a solid contributes to this. At the same time, the room is cool, the air is not dry. In the summer heat, it is also more comfortable to sleep below, closer to the floor;
