I compare delicacies from the store and from the market
I always have many guests at the Orthodox Trinity - all my relatives come. And I wanted to put them on the table and treat them with something unusual that I had never tasted before, or ate for a very long time.
Therefore, I went for meat delicacies, first to the store to ask the price, and then to the market.
I must say right away that nothing inspired me in the store - all the delicacies looked completely chemical. Even outwardly it was evident that they were not tasty, not appetizing. Prices per kilogram: for brisket 500 rubles and more, neck 700 rubles, boiled pork 790 rubles and so on. All this is vacuum packed and has a very long shelf life.
But on the market, the variety is simply amazing. Moreover, the prices per kilogram are about 100 rubles lower than those that I brought from the store. Sausages from 300 to 500 rubles, meat from 300 to 600 rubles.
Numerous varieties of sausages - pork, beef, chicken, turkey and rabbit. That is, everyone will find for themselves fatter or fatter.
Very tasty-looking rolls made of layers of meat and lard, which you can immediately taste on the thin plastic and appreciate the taste.
Whole chunks of smoked meats of all of the above varieties are fresh, fragrant and very appetizing.
Smoked, raw smoked and boiled sausages of various types. Some with fat, others from a mixture of different types of meat, others in a natural casing, and others in an artificial casing.
Smoked quail. Small carcasses, the size of a fist, do not look very tempting, it seems - what is there? But they were the ones that caught my attention. This is exactly what I was looking for - a rarity on our table, many have not tried them. And as a snack they will be just right. If you lay them beautifully, warm them up before serving, then this will be the highlight of the program. One quail is 120 rubles, but since I took 15 pieces, they gave me a discount and gave everything for 1500 rubles.
In addition, I bought a small piece of raw smoked sausages, brisket and bacon. I paid 2,000 rubles in total, but I know that the products are natural and unusual for our tables filled with chemical food.
The guests were delighted, and because of the 3 "extra" quails, the men argued for a long time, as a joke, of course.
