How to make ayran in 3 minutes: an incredibly simple recipe for your favorite drink

Ayran is a delicious and refreshing drink. In the Caucasus, it is called the elixir of beauty, youth and longevity. With a low calorie content, it has a high nutritional value. It is part of many health and wellness diets. It has a positive effect on the digestive, cardiovascular and nervous systems. Today we will tell you the simplest recipe for this unique drink.

Express recipe

In order to prepare ayran in 3 minutes, you need the following ingredients:

  • kefir or natural yogurt (at least 1.5 fat) - 700 ml;
  • carbonated mineral water - 700 ml;
  • parsley, dill, cilantro - 1 small bunch each;
  • juice of half a lemon;
  • salt - 1 teaspoon.

Important! For the preparation of ayran, it is better to use mineral water of natural carbonation. That is, the water that comes carbonated from the wells is carbonated in the process of adding carbon dioxide at the factory. This is, for example, the legendary Narzan.

How to prepare a drink

Finely chop the parsley, cilantro and dill. When cutting greens, sprinkle some salt on it - this will give juice and become more aromatic.

Put the crumbled greens in a bowl with a volume of at least 1.5 liters and cover with kefir or yogurt. Next, squeeze out the juice of half a lemon, add 1 teaspoon of salt and stir.

The last step is to pour carbonated mineral water into the contents of a bowl, stir a little and refrigerate for 15–20 minutes. After this time, the drink is ready, it can be served to the table or added to okroshka!

Why does this drink benefit the body?

Many, after reading this recipe, will object: why is a mixture of mineral water with ordinary kefir and herbs will be useful for the body? Indeed, in the opinion of the majority, real healing drinks are prepared only from natural milk on natural sourdough, and infused in the fresh air under the rustle of emerald alpine grass, blown by cool mountain by the winds. We will answer this question briefly and point by point.

Parsley. This herb contains the following minerals: manganese, boron, vanadium, silicon, iron, nickel, rubidium, cobalt, lithium, calcium, iodine, magnesium, chromium, potassium, copper, zinc. Let's move on to the next group of nutrients contained in this herb: vitamins K, C, A, B9, B2, E, beta-carotene, lutein. Important compounds: purines, phytosterols, oxalic acid.

Kinza. This herb is also a storehouse of vitamins and minerals. Contains: A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B9, E, K, C and P, saturated fatty acids, mono- and disaccharides; and more potassium, calcium, magnesium, sodium, phosphorus and iron.

That leaves dill and lemon. And in order to save time, let's not list the entire composition and useful properties of these gifts of nature. They are already well known and do not need additional advertising!

So, we got the richest complex of natural (not synthesized) vitamins and minerals, added to it, beneficial bacteria from kefir and carbonation, which contributes to the rapid assimilation of all these substances. Do not forget about the beneficial properties of the mineral water itself!

Important! Kefir or yogurt should contain at least 1.5% fat, since many vitamins found in greens are fat-soluble. Fat-soluble vitamins include A, D, E, K. Without fat, they simply cannot be assimilated.
