When I was going to visit an elite villa in Dubai for a working visit for the first time, I felt uncomfortable. Still would! It turned out that the owners of such villas are very calm and benevolent people, and although they live luxuriously, they do not have gold toilet bowls and platinum baths.

Luxury homes in Dubai can be divided into two categories: villas for Arabs and villas for foreigners.

Locals prefer detached houses close to shopping centers and major highways. They build exclusively for themselves, they rarely sell, and, according to the law, it is possible to sell in such places only other residents of the UAE or residents of the Gulf countries (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Yemen, Oman).

The plot of land may or may not be very large, but it is rarely used. The building itself will necessarily be massive, like a palace, with interesting architectural solutions, columns, and a large number of bedrooms. (from 6 and more), with pretentiousness in decoration, with additional rooms for a gym, for playing billiards, a cinema and other entertainment.

No, there will be no rooms for each wife - even though local residents are allowed at the state level to have up to four wives, each must live in her own separate house. But in the living room, you can certainly arrange tricycle races. And of course, rooms for maids, a driver, a gardener.

Foreigners, on the other hand, prefer elite houses on the territory of prestigious compounds with developed infrastructure and good neighbors. The very best villas have great views - golf course, sea or lake. Such a house has five or six bedrooms, and they all have their own bathroom. The living room is divided into several zones, there is a room for a maid and a driver. The plot of land is necessarily of an impressive size, with its own pool, next to it is a neatly mowed lawn, a masterly decorated garden and recreation areas.

In my opinion, the most luxurious homes are located on Palm Jumeirah. There, everyone has their own access to the sea and often their own yacht moored nearby. Here you can find houses for $ 10 million or more.
