Runny nose in tomatoes, what to do?
We had a friend who, in case of a cold, called an ambulance. Once he even went to a psychiatric hospital, tried to prove to the doctor that he was sick. Didn't put it down! The psychiatrist managed to convince him that he was healthy.
And many gardeners do the same. At the sight of spots on the leaves, and not even seeing them yet, they turn on heavy artillery: Ridomil, HOM and its analogues, Poliram, etc.
If the plants are really sick, no doubt, you need to take some measures. And if tomatoes, for example, simply lack phosphorus? What is the point of treating them with fungicides?
I do not remove such leaves. Why? They sacrifice themselves for the good of the bush.
Here's another thing, the tomato was missing something, the lower leaves shared. Therefore, they look unpresentable:
Today I removed these leaves for ease of watering, but I could have left it.
In general, there are two opposite approaches to diseases, both human and tomato. The first is to feed and drink, it's mine! The second is of the type of antibiotics for the common cold.
Hopefully this article will allow someone to stop worrying about normal stains on tomato leaves.
Also, look, here's a sheet:
In a bush full of life, this is the only such leaf. See what a handsome man:
Or partial leaf necrosis is a physiological problem, the bushes did not like the weather:
It is better not to touch the plant in this case. True, I just removed these leaves today for the sake of airing, this is the picture at the bottom of the bush:
And this is the middle of the bush:
How are the lower leaves of your tomatoes doing?
I would be grateful for your subscription and communication :)
