How I clean a plastic bottle from plaque and algae in 3 minutes: here are three ways
Like many people, we use 5-liter plastic bottles in our household very widely. There is always water in such bottles in my greenhouse so that it heats up during the day and gives off heat at night. In summer, on the contrary, it evaporates and creates some moisture on very hot days.
The husband stores nails in them, some necessary fluids for a trimmer, a saw and a boat motor, for example.
That is, the thing is necessary. But the fact is that we do not have such bottles. We do not buy water, because we have very high quality water in the well. We do not buy other drinks in such bottles either. That is why, in case of contamination of a plastic bottle for household needs, I try to rinse it and use it further. But, as you can imagine, this is not so easy to do. The neck is narrow and the bottom with a bloom is difficult to rinse, especially since it is textured - with depressions and bulges.
But I found two of the simplest and most effective ways. In principle, this is even one way, but using different mechanical particles.
The first way
In a bottle, which is covered with dirt or algae from the inside, we pour eggshells, well crumpled, but not into powder. And drip a couple of drops of detergent. Anyone, I have AOC.
After that, pour about a glass of water and vigorously shake the bottle with the contents for about a minute. A very copious foam forms in it. Then we pour out the shell with water and see that the bottle has become completely clean inside.
Second way
It's even simpler. If you don't have eggshells on hand, you can grab a handful of dry rice, drop a few drops of liquid detergent, and add water. Shake the bottle vigorously, trying to twist it in all directions. In a minute, you will have a completely clean container in your hands.
After such cleaning, the bottle can be rinsed and it is ready for further use without unpleasant disgusting plaque.
Third way
If there is no detergent, then you can do this: take the same eggshell and pour a tablespoon of drinking soda into the bottle.
And then pour about a liter of hot water. Stir until the soda is completely dissolved and then shake, as in the first two cases. Plaque also comes off easily. This method is suitable for those who do not use synthetic detergents. And such, I know, is becoming more and more!
Someone, of course, will say - it is easier to throw it out. But I don't think so. It is necessary to use for household needs all the things that can still serve. This is saving.
