When will the fashion for balconies go away, and why does everyone "sculpt" them in country houses? I understand this craving for beauty.
Go out to the balcony in the morning with a cup of coffee, and breathe in the fresh air, listening to the birdsong... Probably many people imagine life in a country house this way. Or are there adequate reasons to fence these structures?
Friends, a big hello to everyone. For many people, building a house is not just a matter of erecting a building for housing, but a whole creative task.
The more corners, windows, and some non-standard solutions in the house, the better. Just a box is no longer interesting.
And judging by the fact that I built a "square" of 8x8 meters, with a gable roof, I am not a creative person at all.
In the same way, I don't understand why make a balcony in a country house?
And this is not one, two examples on the street. Even if you walk along my SNT, in a small provincial town, then many unpretentious country houses have balconies about two meters. But something tells me that they come out, very rarely. So why do they continue to be included in the plan of their home?
- Firstly, it seems to me that it comes from high-rise buildings. After all, now many people move to private houses from there. And in an apartment on some twentieth floor, going out to the balcony is like going out into nature.
- Secondly, probably many in dreams imagine a similar picture:
Nice view, fresh air (because a little lower he is not the same 😂), and complete relaxation ...
But then they face reality (this is especially true for most regions of Russia).
✔ Fighting snow and moisture, which constantly attack open structures, while destroying the exterior finish (floor coverings), and sometimes influencing the rest of the structure of the house.
✔ Dirt, and this is an additional hassle with cleaning.
✔ Yes, and just a mismatch with expectations. When instead of beautiful landscapes, at best, you just observe your yard, only a little higher. Or you follow your neighbors, and they are watching you, and they think: "Again, this one is on his balcony."
✔ At the same time, we pay extra money for all this, and we cut down the usable area of the house, which could be used much more efficiently.
Especially, this concerns not the "royal chorus", where beauty is more important than functionality (just pay), but ordinary houses for which people earn, save up, and take loans.
After all, it's much easier to just go out to your yard.
And also enjoy the beauty of nature, and the singing of birds, but being a little closer to the ground, sitting in some gazebo, but without unnecessary troubles ...
