Why do we make a solid fence around the site
A year ago we moved to our house, which has not yet been finished. Nevertheless, all communications are there, the bathrooms are working, the heating is on, so life is very comfortable. But there is still a lot of work ahead, we are doing it as we accumulate money.
Finally, we have a normal fence in front of the house, and not plank boards on supports, as after the bombing. By the way, the fence cost us more than the garage three years ago.
All colleagues and acquaintances who have seen our fence say that he greatly decorated the house and made, finally, a complete look. But I heard criticism from one colleague. She expressed her dissatisfaction with the fact that all around are erecting solid fences, as in a zone. Although here, just the fence looks very light and does not press, thanks to the fact that it is installed on brick posts of two types of bricks - red and yellow, like the house.
But the woman from work still says that we should have put up a light one, for example, a wrought-iron fence, and set up a flower garden in front of the house so that everyone can admire. And it would look beautiful and not like everyone else. And the way we did it is corny and not interesting. Moreover, no one makes solid fences abroad, while in Russia they are accustomed to fencing.
In general, I am surprised at such people who criticize everyone and everyone, and even in such a categorical form: "You should have done this ..."
I actually have my own head on my shoulders, my own plans for how to equip the site. Moreover, the side with which our fence is located is facing north and it will be simply impossible to break a lush flower garden there - there is a shadow almost all day long. Only in the summer in the evenings there is the sun.
Therefore, I plan to make a dumping there and a composition with conifers, for which such an atmosphere will suit.
And in general, I do not want all passers-by to stare at my territory. Maybe I have some secrets and secrets why strangers should see them.
I even noticed more than once that if the gates are open when a car drives in, then everyone who passes, looks in to see what is hidden behind the fence?
Yes, and I noticed the same desire for myself - to be curious, how is everything arranged there, with people living in a beautiful house? I am also Russian, so I will not dissemble and say that everyone is looking in, but here I am, I don’t look in alone, and I’m a fine fellow... No, I also shoot with my eyes at the open gate, there is such a thing.
I am sure that the territory that I own belongs to me, like my kitchen, bedroom, and is just as private. Therefore, the desire to hide her from prying eyes is completely natural.
Moreover, we live in a village, the house is on the road. And all the neighbors' fences are much uglier than ours - a solid sheet, without any hint of grace. I do not justify myself that I need to "like everyone else", but I am not going to reveal my yard either.
What do you think - is it worth leaving the opportunity for people to look into the courtyard, or is it complete stupidity?
